What to expect when you are dying
When you are pregnant, you can attend birthing classes.
When you are getting married, you might attend pre-marital therapy or visits with a priest.
Where do you go when you have a terminal illness, or you are caring for someone who does?
This is a two-hour class that will help prepare you, or someone you love, for the dying process.
I will share the symptoms someone might experience, and hand over the tools to help navigate them.
I will always provide information about these topics:
Hospice care and what is available to you.
Tools for the caregiver.
How to go from partner, to caregiver to widow/widower.
Other subjects that I might discuss:
Medical Aid in Dying
How to get the conversation started
Honoring your loved ones wishes
Each class will have some similarities to the month before, but I will always add something new.
I guarantee you that if you attended this class every month, you will always have a new take-away.
This class is deigned for someone who has received a terminal diagnosis, their caregivers,
or for anyone who works in the end-of-life field.
My goal is to help improve the way people are cared for when they are dying, or grieving.
The cost for this class is $50.
I always have two scholarship spots available.
Payment for classes can be made via PayPal or Venmo
