What to expect when you are dying (Oct. 29th)

What to expect when you are dying (Oct. 29th)

When you are getting married, you might attend pre-marital therapy or visits with a priest.  When you are pregnant, you can attend birthing classes.  Where do you go when you have a terminal illness, or you are caring for someone who does?

This is a two-hour class that will help prepare you, or someone you love, for the dying process.

I will share the symptoms someone might experience, and hand over the tools to help navigate them.

I will always provide information about these topics:

  • Hospice care and what is available to you.
  • Tools for the caregiver.
  • How to go from partner, to caregiver to widow/widower.
  • Self Care

Other subjects that I might discuss:

  • Medical Aid in Dying
  • End-of-life doulas
  • How to get the conversation started
  • Honoring your loved ones wishes

Each class will have some similarities to the month before, but I will always add something new.

I guarantee you that if you attended this class every month, you will always have a new take-away.

I promise!

This class is designed for someone who has received a terminal diagnosis, their caregivers, or for anyone who works in the end-of-life field.

My goal is to help improve the way people are cared for when they are dying, or grieving.
