What to expect when you are dying
When you are getting married, you might attend pre-marital therapy or visits with a priest.
When you are pregnant, you can attend birthing classes.
Where do you go when you have a terminal illness, or you are caring for someone who does?
This is a two-hour class that will help prepare you, or someone you love, for the dying process.
I will share the symptoms someone might experience, and hand over the tools to help navigate them.
I will always provide information about these topics:
Hospice care and what is available to you
Palliative care vs. hospice care
Tools for the caregiver
Understanding medications
End-of-life symptoms, and what could happen
How to go from partner, to caregiver to widow/widower
Self Care
Medical Aid in Dying
End-of-life doulas
How to get the conversation started
Honoring your loved ones wishes
Each class will have some similarities to the month before, but I will always add something new.
I guarantee you that if you attended this class every month, you will always have a new take-away.
I promise!
This class is deigned for someone who has received a terminal diagnosis, their caregivers,
or for anyone who works in the end-of-life field.
My goal is to help improve the way people are cared for when they are dying, or grieving.
I always have two scholarship spots available. Please email me if you're interested.
I hope to see you there.
Please share this with anyone you think might be interested.
Class dates:
Saturday, February 25th 11:00am-1:00pm PacificTime.
Saturday, April 1st 11:00am-1:00pm PacificTime.
All classes are virtual (Zoom).

The Scholarship Fund
I offer scholarship spots for all of my classes so that anyone can take them, and finances do not get in their way. I have been asked how someone can donate a scholarship spot, so I have created a donation page for that purpose.
All donations will go directly to allowing someone else to take a class.
Thank you in advance for your generosity!
