Ritual and Ceremony

Ritual and Ceremony are woven into everything I do, as a hospice nurse, an end-of-life doula, and as a human being navigating life. These practices have helped me face what I carried around with me most of my life. The rituals have taught me to honor it, and finally let it go. They have taught me how to release regret, soften guilt, and loosen the grip of old disappointments. They have been profoundly healing, and it is this healing that I hope to offer you.

In each class, I will share gentle tools and simple practices that you can bring into your own life. Together, we will participate in two candle-lighting rituals, each one designed to help you acknowledge what weighs on you and create space for something lighter.

One class focuses on grief. You will learn ways to soften the ache, meet your grief with tenderness, and navigate it with a little more ease. I will lead two rituals: one to help release the weight you have been carrying, and another to speak what was left unsaid, whether it is a message, a goodbye, or a moment of truth you didn’t get the chance to share.

One class explores forgiveness of self & of others. In this class, I share what rituals have taught me: we don’t have to keep dragging the past with us; childhood wounds, painful relationships, or the moments that still ache. Forgiveness becomes a way of saying, "I deserve to move forward without this heaviness." It isn’t about excusing what happened; it’s about freeing ourselves from the weight of it. I will lead two rituals where you can acknowledge what has shaped you, offer yourself compassion, forgive where you can, and gently let go, so that you can step into your life with more ease and a little more lightness.

For each class, please bring:

A candle

A lighter

Tissues

Something to drink (hydration supports our bodies when we touch tender places.)

I hope these gatherings offer you healing, softness, and a sense of release as you move toward a lighter, more peaceful way of being.

Each class is 1 ½-2 hours.

Note: I also offer private ritual classes, which are one hour (unless more time is needed) and designed especially for you and what you need.

The Scholarship Fund

I offer two scholarship spots for all of my classes so that anyone can take them, and finances do not get in their way. I have been asked how someone can donate a scholarship spot, so I have created a donation page for that purpose.

All donations will go directly to allowing someone else to take a class.

Thank you in advance for your generosity!

"This is a wonderful course. I am a hospice nurse, and I have been using one of the rituals I learned from Gabby, with my families after their loved one has died.

I want to learn more." LR

"I didn't get to say goodbye to my grandmother before she died. Gabby shared a beautiful ritual with us in class that I did later, leaving me feeling as though my grandmother received my message... the things I didn't get to say before she died." HG

"I recently took the ritual & ceremony class and am beyond grateful for the experience. I learned so much and was able to connect with other like-minded individuals. Gabby's passion for making the end of life transition peaceful and meaningful is truly inspiring. I would highly recommend taking her course."

"I did this class with my mom, we really enjoyed it. I would recommend it to anyone. As Gabby says,

you will leave with a take-away." LP

"You will probably cry in this class, but it is the kind of cry that you will feel so much relief from afterwards." JH

"The forgiveness class was amazing, I recommend it to anyone, and everyone!!" SS
