The thing about our memory
Is that we can pick and choose
The dates and times we can re-visit
Something I hope I never loose
You are always there inside me
In my head and in my heart
You are wrapped tightly around me
We will never be apart
My memory keeps you alive and well
It eases some of my pain
I visit you quite often
And I will continue to, again and again
My memory is my safe place
It’s the door that I walk through
Because it is always left open for me
So that I can come and visit you
